What to write to us about

  • Report an error

A wrong spec, a discontinued or renamed model, a link to the wrong listing. Name the guide and the product; a source for the right figure gets it fixed as soon as it is verified.

  • A quote of yours

Something you wrote in public is quoted here. Tell us the guide and the words: they are yours, and we remove or change them on request, no questions asked.

  • Suggest a guide

A product type you wish had a guide built this way. The most useful tip is a forum thread, or a listing whose buyers describe a product after real use.

  • Brands and retailers

You make or sell something that appears here, or would like it to. Read the section below first: nothing here is for sale, and samples change nothing.

Thank you: your message reached us.

If it needs an answer, the reply comes by email to the address you gave.

Goes straight to our own inbox, not through a third-party form or mail service. We keep only what you write here, to reply to you.

For brands and retailers

No brand can buy a position in a ranking or a word on a page. A product appears because owners recommend it, in public discussions or in the reviews on its own listing. A guide built from discussions moves only when owners change their minds; a guide built from listings is ordered by the editor. Who pays for this site is set out on the About page.

  • We do not accept samples, review units, payment or partnership offers. Anything sent unsolicited is not returned and changes nothing.
  • We do welcome corrections to specifications, notice of a discontinued or renamed model, and the official spec sheet of a product owners already recommend.
  • Owner quotes are never edited at a brand's request. A quote is a person's own words; only that person can ask for it to change.

What happens after you write

  1. Read. A person reads it, usually within a few days. There is no auto-reply and no ticket number.
  2. Verify. A correction is checked against a source before anything changes. A request about your own quote is checked only against the words on the page.
  3. Fix, and say so. The page changes, its review date moves, and you get a reply saying what changed, or why nothing did.
